Forward Gun of USS Little (DD-79), 23 October 1918
Here we see the forward gun of the Wickes class destroyer USS Little (DD-79), during gunnery practise at sea on 23 October 1918. Note the markings on the deck around the gun, and the fairly small size of the gun shield compared to the gun crew.
