This overhead shot shows the Atlanta class light cruiser USS Reno (CL-96) at sea, late in 1943 or early in 1944. Note the cluster of anti-aircraft guns that have been added at the stern, and the number of extra guns dotted around the ship (look for the circular gun pits).
