Heinkel He 52

The Heinkel He 52 was a high-altitude version of the He 51, the first fighter aircraft to serve with the new Luftwaffe after its official formation. One prototype was built, but the project was abandoned after the German Air Ministry decided to introduce the Messerschmitt Bf 109, making the biplane fighters obsolete.
